I use both turquoise, which is costly and dear, and magnesite, which only a chemical examination can tell the difference, and is much less costly and looks identical. I will tell you which is which, as an honest designer I'm compelled to do. Generally the price will tell the difference. Every necklace has matching earrings because otherwise you will never match that exact shade of blue.

This year I designed with you and your pocketbook in mind. Knowing what the economy is like I've kept the prices modest while keeping the quality high. I've used some stones new to me and some I've used before. The designs are dictated by the stones I find at the Tucson Gem Show in February. Sometimes the stones have to sit on my workbench until the design comes to me and sometimes it's instant. I think you'll like these new designs.
